About the publication
flicknova · Cinnabar Edition
The Cinnabar Edition is a paper-feel magazine for readers who love deep reading and dislike noise. We offer stories on technology, policy, intelligence, and the natural world. We dress our pages in cinnabar red, ink brown, and warm paper — because the form of a story shapes how it is read, and serious matters deserve a serious frame.
What we publish
We organize the edition into three sections: Policy & World, on the rules that reshape the game; Tech & Intelligence, between silicon, models, and machines; and Science & Deals, on the wonders of nature and the prices of living. Every piece is bylined, timed, and carries the editor's note on whether it will still matter in a year.
Editorial principles
- Treat the news as a point on a long arc, not a verdict.
- Separate "what happened" from "what it means," and name each.
- When facts move, revise in place — never quietly contradict.
- Cite sources where possible; link what is public.
The masthead
We keep a deliberately small team: senior correspondents, markets reporters, policy analysts, science writers, and an investigations desk. We publish a curated edition rather than a firehose — because the most useful thing an editor does is decide what to leave out.
